Special K&L Dinners and Tastings

  • December 31: Second Harvest Food Bank Drive in Redwood City November 1-December 31 - This holiday season, we are delighted to announce once more that in November and December in Redwood City, we will be hosting a holiday food and fund drive with the Second Harvest Food Bank! With the rising cost of living on the Peninsula, there are more families in need, and we believe we all can make an impact for our neighbors. Amazingly, 40% of the recipients of the food collected goes to children, and $1 (or 2.4 pounds of food) provides 2 meals.

In Redwood City, we are an "errand stop" en route to and from Costco and grocery stores, so this is a fabulous way for our customers to participate in charitable giving this holiday within the context of your current routines!
If you prefer to contribute financially, you may donate online via our Second Harvest Food Bank fundraising webpage linked below.

Help us reach our goal of 500 pounds of food and/or $5,000!

The Food Bank accepts all non-perishable food donations, but especially needs these nutritious items:

    • Meals in a can (soup, stew, chili)
    • Tuna or canned chicken
    • Peanut butter
    • Canned foods with pop-top lids
    • Canned fruit in its own juice or water
    • Low-sodium canned vegetables
    • Olive or canola oil
    • Spices
    • Low-sugar whole grain cereals
    • Healthy snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit)
*Please avoid items packed in glass. No candy or soda please.

Thank you in advance for your support of this drive, and the opportunity to make a difference in our community! https://www.shfb.org/page.aspx?pid=1050&FFDDrive=17%20FD%20Holiday&FFDOrg=523165
